Four little birdies sittin in a tree.
One flew away and then there were three.
Three little birdies don't know what to do.
One flew away and then there were two.
Two little birdies sittin in the sun.
One flew away and then there was one.
One little birdie can't have any fun.
So he flew away and then there were none.
Well, it finally happened. This morning there were two little birdies in the nest above the roses....one jumped off onto the trellis and I knew he was 'leaving home'.
He looks very pleased with himself doesn't he?
He jumped, flapped his little birdie wings and hit the downspout on the side of the house...landed in the bushes below the roses. Just like the two yesterday. Eventually he made it to the ground where he sat for I don't know how long before he decided to make a run for it... God be with him. :O)

A few hours ago, the last little bird, very bored I'm sure, decided he just couldn't wait around for them to come back so he hightailed it out onto the trellis too. A couple minutes later he was running down the driveway and into the garage. Then across the yard and under the neighbors bushes. I saw the 'parents' waiting a few feet away so I just left him. God be with him too. :O)
I'm gonna do it! You better come back before I jump! Please? Don't make me jump!!
I have no more birdies but....at least I still have these two precious stinkers!
