Do you ever feel like your life will never get back to normal after being sick?

It's so hard when a mom gets sick. I'm not saying it's NOT hard for the kids and hubby but a mom...I...pretty much run our household day in and day out. I don't like not feeling well enough to take care of my family. Tuesday I was in bed all day with two phones(home and cell), my Bible, magazines, a book, the tv remote, Comet (the dog), and a box of tissues. It was a pathetic sight. I felt like Meg Ryan in You've Got Mail when she was in the bed sick with all her tissues.

Wednesday I still felt bad but not as bad as the day before and then Thursday Ian and Jacob stayed home from school and went to the doctor with the same thing. They are now on antibiotics. I wanted them well because we have been planning a trip to see Bens brother and his family in Atlanta for the Labor Day weekend. Today....a couple hours ago, Ben comes home early. Sick. I doped him up with sinus medicine and sent him upstairs to call his brother and cancel the weekend and to watch tv in the play room. Owen's the only one that hasn't gotten it yet and he has a soccer game at 10am in the morning. If we could just hold off on him getting sick until about 11 then he will be happy that he at least got to play in his first soccer game. So what was my question? Oh yeah. Do you ever feel like your life will never get back to normal after being sick? I feel like I will not see anything normal in the near future. I see a lot of tv and movies (ok so that's not so bad), books, and tissues. I guess I need to get to Walgreens for more tissue. Yuck.

Hope you all are having a better week/weekend!

Girl I know what you mean!!!! I got out of the hospital last night, Matthew got out yesterday morning and it has been totally crazy! I pray that I will be back on at least 3/4 of my game by Monday. Me, you and Debbie got into a wicked little virus! I pray that it does not run through my fam like it has run through yours!
