Thank you Lord for the blessed rain that poured down for a solid 20 minutes! It's still thundering outside so we keep praying there is more on the way. It hasn't rained in so long I can't even remember the last time I saw those glorious droplets fall from Heaven! Boy did we need that rain! OMG I think I hear it again!

It's been a crazy week..the boys are back in school full time and I'm taking all the extra time during the day to get some much needed housekeeping done.

We went to the county fair last week with my sister and her family and the kids had the best time. We love going to the fair...there's just something so nostalgic about a county fair don't you think? Thought I would share some pics with you.

This is Owen with my niece, Delaney. They are two peas in a pod when they get together. The best of friends. Probably because Owen is FINALLY older than someone and can be the 'big brother' instead of the 'little brother'. He loves to take care of her.

It took Delaney a minute to realize it was ok to ride with Jacob on a couple rides instead of with Owen on every one.

Ok...so Ian. He's 14. And thinks he is waaaay too cool to ride rides at the fair. I just didn't realize that was part of being a teenager. The whole 'I'm too big for rides' thing. It's crazy. He rode two rides I think.

Jacob and Owen and Delaney couldn't get enough though.

This picture reminded us of the Verizon commercials.

Ben with Owen and Jacob on the Ferris Wheel.

Jacob is pretty much fearless... which can be a bad thing.
He just has to learn on his own sometimes. I think this went way too fast for him can you tell? He was all for it in the beginning but when it got going his mile wide grin faded to 'oh my gosh get me off this thing' terror.
He survived.

We went into the agricultural part where you get to 'pretend' you're planting vegetables. Owen's planting corn here. After you're done you get to 'pretend' like you're selling your vegetables at the farmers market and they give you play money. Then at the end you get to buy ice cream with your play money. Owen and Delaney really liked this part.

This ones for my Papa. He's driven a John Deere on his farm my whole life.

They really wanted to be bigger.

My three cowboys...Owen, Jake, and Ian.

Why can't we ever just take a picture? At least one of them has to make a funky face every time.
Precious little guys. I love 'em.
Jake, Delaney, and Owen. I think Delaney was finally getting tired.

And the night ends. Here's the family...Ann(my beautiful Mom), Delaney, Rob, Gina(my sis), in front is Jacob, Ian, Owen, Tracie(me) and Ben. We had such a great time but we were so exhausted and ready to get home.

As I finish this post it is pouring again! Amen. God is amazing and knows exactly what we need and when. Leave it to Him and all is well. If we'd just get out of His way.

Have a great week ahead and GOD BLESS!!
