Here's another fun Q&A I got from Sentiments by Sophia. She really has some of the neatest Q&A's I've seen. You should go check out her blog.
1. Your entire family has gone away for the weekend. The house is all yours. What are the first three things you do? 1. I clean the house spic and span so I don't have to worry about it for the rest of the weekend. 2. Rent a couple of old movies. 3. After the movies I would probably organize something in my art room.
2. Your bankbook is looking healthy, you have a four-day weekend ahead. What sounds good? I would take the hubby to buy that flat screen tv he wants to go over the fireplace and we'd watch movies with the youngens the whole weekend long.
3. What do you do while waiting in the doctors office? Read. I always take something to read because a 9am appointment can end up being an 11am appointment.
4. Would you rather spend an afternoon alone in a book store, a mall, napping in the hammock? I'm a homebody so I'd much rather be at home alone BUT if I have to choose from the three choices above I'd choose a book store. I love books.
5. You have an unexpected 48 hour stay in the hospital. You're coherent and not in pain. How do you spend the time? Reading? Channel Surfing? Laptop surfing? Calling your friends to come visit? Ringing for a nurse every five minutes? Sleeping? Since I've actually had to do this a couple times I would choose some of 'all of the above'. Well, except for calling the nurse. I wouldn't do that. They're in there enough.
6. You have a nine hour trans-continental flight. Get excited about finishing a hot novel? Watch the in-flight movies? Become best friends with the stranger seated next to you? Take three valium and sleep the time away? Watch the movie if it was something I was interested in...read...sleep.
7. You have a seven hour layover in Chicago O'Hare Airport. Do you wear down your cellphone battery calling friends? Read a book? People watch? Shop every store in the airport? Take a taxi and see the city? Definitely take a taxi to see the city but I'd probably walk most everywhere when I got right into the city. I love new places.
8. What do you do when your bored stiff? Bored? Do people really get bored? I would probably paint. Or read. Or clean something. Or organize something.
9. Work first, play later? OR Play while you can, the work will still be there when you get home? It actually depends on the work AND the play. If it's something I'm getting paid for and needs to get done then I'd work first so I could enjoy the playtime without worrying about work. If it's something I need to get done at home I'd probably choose play cause I like family outtings and I can always come home and get whatever needs doing done.
10. List three times that you are easily bored. a.Listening to someone talk about something they've talked about before that they ALWAYS talk about. b.Sports that have nothing to do with my boys. c.Talking to someone that thinks they know everything.
