Photos!!

It's been so long since I"ve posted I thought I'd just give you a look see at what went on in February and March.

First and foremost...the most important event so far.....
the birth of my new niece! Emma Kate
(Katherine). Parents Gina(my sis) and Rob.
She was born February 27, weighed 8lbs 14 oz.
and was 21 3/4 inches long!Gina and Delaney

Easter
This is our awesome church...and our awesome choir with our phenomenal worship pastor Russ Lee.

After church we went to my sisters house for an egg hunt. Sadly this was the first year that Jacob hid eggs instead of hunted. I was a little distraught by that. But not for long. :O) This is Ian above...he and Jake hid over 200 eggs.
Of course, you could see them everywhere as you walked out the door.
Owen was the oldest to hunt eggs. He's 7. There were some very little ones there and it made me miss Owen being so small and having such a good time hunting. He still does but he's out for the candy now. There's really no excitement anymore in the hunt. He just wants the candy. We call him Willy (Wonka). AND Ben is taking all the photos this day. Surely you don't have to ask where I was. With my kids being the oldest? I WAS IN CHARGE OF EMMA KATE OF COURSE!
Starting the hunt.

Yeah. Head height and in plain view.

With a little help from brother.
Sweet Delaney

Look at them go!

Got a bag full.

Kelley and Ethan! Since this photo was taken,
Ethan gained a new baby brother Caleb!

My little Delaney. I love this little munchkin.

Cutie Patootie!

Emma Kate

We took Emma Kate to the farm to visit her Great Granny and Great Papaw.

Granny just LOVES babies. Ok so everybody does but theres just something about it when granny gets hold of a baby. It's pure heaven to watch for all involved.

Charles and Mary Grace with Emma Kate

Dylan is a natural...he just held her and looked at her.
I think he misses Mary Grace being this little.

My boys with Granny and Papaw

The quietest part of the whole day. The ride home.
Ian's basketball games...

THE BRACES CAME OFF!!!

Beautiful white teeth! Now if we could just keep them brushed.

Jake's first trip to Church Camp.
We really wanted him to go this year because he's going into the youth next year and Youth Camp is COMPLETELY different from Children's Camp. WAAAAY different.

The packing process....

took forever....
and ever...
and ever....Jakes obsessive compulsive like me. It had to be perfect.
These pics aren't very good cause I was using my cell phone.
Prayer before leaving....

and back home again....

One of our favorite guys....Justin (Bubba) Warren.

They thought it was summer!

A couple weeks ago it was so warm that the boys took their sleds
and filled them with water.
They had a blast.
Today we're supposed to get snow flurries. Go figure. The weather is crazy.

Thug Owen
He is a very cool dude isn't he?

He and his highwaters. He's growing so fast that in a matter of weeks his
jeans are like this...above his ankles.

Just plain squishy!
So now that I'm almost up to date I've got to tell you that Emma Kate is almost 7 weeks old and is the sweetest, squishiest baby in the world. I could hold her constantly...which is probably why my kids and Delaney are all happily spoiled.
She just lays her little head down and become part of your body like...melted peanut butter on toast.

These are some of my favorite pictures of her. I got a little crazy with the camera because she's wearing the dress that I wore as a baby! Isn't she purrreeccious?!?!?
Look at those piggy toes!

Nature
Do you see this wild turkey sitting on the fence. He has been roaming this
area for a few weeks and this day he was in our neighborhood all
over the place. Comet had a field day at the window....
because there were also 4 young rabbits playing in our back yard.
He was going crazy. I have to raise the blinds in the morning because he runs from window to window talking and barking at all the little animals.
Our Tree(s)We love this tree but there are actually two here and we have no idea how or why. The little dark pink one on the right has been there for over five years. It's a little dwarf peach tree. Last spring. another tree started growing out of the little peach. A completely different tree. The bigger tree was like a limb from the smaller one and then it started getting bigger and bigger and it outgrew the 5 year old tree. FREAKY. But very cool.
My friend Stephanie.
This is who introduced me to Ben. :O)
And she got all her hair cut off! Looks awesome Steph!
HEY ANGEL!!
IT'S BEEN UPDATED! YAY!
Whew! Ok...I guess thats it for now.
I've still got SOME catching up to do on the blog but
it can wait another day or two.
