Turkey Day!!

It was a great Thanksgiving for us! We went to north Georgia with Bens family and stayed in a HUUGGEEE cabin....of course there are 20 of us so it had to be big. But it was awesome. It was right on the lake. We canoed and hung out outside around the firepit making smores and catching up. It was really pleasant and nice. The kids didn't argue either....which is a shocker. They all got along. Yeah...it was nice. We were ready to get home though. Ian had to work and I was ready to start putting up CHRISTMAS STUFF!!!!

Yay!!!! Tis the season to be jolly fa la la la la la la la la! I love love love Christmas! I think I may even be a little bit organized this year. Ben makes me set a budget.....as opposed to my going crazy with the checkbook. Which would happen. So I set a budget and even have listed what everyone is getting this year!
Sidenote: I have to share this link with you....
Puddin Pops. Melissa is a friend of mine from church and she makes the most precious little dolls that I'm getting for my two little puddin nieces, Delaney and Emma Kate.

One of the things I'm so excited about this year is our Living Christmas that we do at church. It is so amazing! You get to ride around the church on hayrides drinking hot chocolate and watching live scenes from the birth of baby Jesus. It's really awesome. This year I'm in charge of the Temple Scene...the painting and building and adding props and actors. It is such a blessing for me to be involved with it.

Sooo I've finally finished MY Christmas orders. Actually I have one platter left to finish but I just got that order a couple days ago. Still time. Someone asked me last week why I never post any photos of things I paint. I haven't taken any photos of orders from this year but here are some photos from some past orders.

Hope you have a wonderfully blessed day!!
