OH I want to lose weight so bad. Donna (at Blither Blather) actually KEPT a goal of walking for 31 days! I think she did that when she lived over in my neighborhood too. I may have tried to be a part of it but I don't remember. Obviously I didn't take that goal and run (or walk) with it. Why can't I just DECIDE to exercise and lose weight?! I was sick. I lost almost 9 pounds. That's NOT the way I want to lose weight. Really. I don't care if I EVER EVER lose another 9 pounds by being sick. I'd rather gain weight than go through that again.
So I have this friend. Julie. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Julie. She is a wonderful, sweet Christian friend and she inspires me. She teaches aerobics and is a certified trainer. Twice....TWICE....already I have been to her for help. It all starts out peachy and I'm working out like crazy and then something throws a wrench in and it's all blown to kingdom come. WHY can I not just take losing weight one day at a time? Make the right choices with food and just go out and walk for 15 or 30 minutes every day. I have a dog I could walk. I have tennis shoes. I'm home almost every day. I COULD DO IT!!
I COULD say that it's all about living with 3 boys, the husband, a dog and a fish. We've never been extreme healthy eaters. I mean, we don't eat McDonalds every night.... I cook. There's just not always a salad on the table and if there were then only 2 of us would eat it.
Ok I've gotta make a goal. I think I'm gonna fix myself a sandwich and think about it over lunch.
If anyone DOES read this...suggestions would be appreciated! :O)
Hope you're having a blessed weekend!

love you, girl!!! thanks for the shout out!!!
haha, being a guy a college, my mom always complains that i make her gain weight whenever i'm home.
okay, here's my advice as a lacrosse player...
i think it definitely helps to have a plan and to keep that plan as simple as you can. if you can choose to jog for 30 minutes every weekday, you would definitely notice results very soon!
you won't even have to run fast or anything. just that little bit of exercise can do wonders for anyone, even me!
hope this helps and good luck!
