Heelllooeeewwww! Have you ever seen Mrs. Doubtfire with Robin Williams? I LOVE that movie! That’s the way she said ‘hello’. Oh Heeelllooeeewwwww!
It’s been a busy couple of weeks around here! Made some good decisions by listening and trusting God. I’ve been entirely too preoccupied with serving at church. Do you ever do that? I LOVE…no I mean I LOOOOOVE….serving at church. It’s such a pleasure to watch other Christians serving and loving on other people that may or may not be Christians. I feel so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful church where we pour ourselves out to others.
Anyway, so I've gotten a little overwhelmed lately with everything I do at home AND at church….being a wife and mom are my first priorities because when I’m serving them I’m serving God. But other than laundry, cooking, car pooling, fixing toys, etc I also serve in several ministries at church. I was able to give up one of those ministries last week…much to my chagrin. I didn’t WANT to leave that specific ministry but I NEEDED to. I didn’t feel like I was serving in it to the best of my ability. And if you can’t do something to the best of your ability then it’s time to stop. So I did and when I did it felt sooooo right. Yay God! He spoke, I listened, I obeyed. It’s not always easy to do that but when you DO hear Him and obey Him then life is such a breeze! Sit back and quietly see if there is something God is trying to tell you. Then give it over to Him to lead you in the direction He wants you to go. Let go and let God!
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD."Isaiah 55:8
I hope you're having a wonderful weekend!!!
