Love birds...weren't we sweet....good grief can you see anything aside from the red lipstick?
I cannot believe it's been 15 years and we haven't killed each other! haha My honey and I have been married 15 years today so I thought I'd share some pictures of us from way back in August 1992.

I should have know something would be amiss when he tried to trip me into Percy Priest Lake. I don't know how many times he's tried to tackle me or trip me since then.
Our invitation was beautiful....it's hard to see here.
This is my beautiful mom and Ben...
Me with my sisters...yes, they wore black.
Ben and I with my parents and Ben's parents. Surely you can guess which set belongs to whom.
My dad with my grandfather and my sister,Gina.
Wow. Who is that beautiful bride?! Ha! I wonder if that was before or after I thought I was going to throw up....look..more red lipstick.
Ok...I've got a story to tell about our wedding day. These are my sisters above, Leigh Ann on the left and Gina on the right. They were there for me every step of the way that day..bless their pea pickin hearts. We got married in a Catholic ceremony. Any of you know where I'm going with this? First of all, a Catholic Ceremony is loooooong. When they priest starts 'mass' the bridesmaids and the groomsmen sit down on the front pew. (Thats a long bench that used to be in every church for those of you that don't know) Anyway, Leigh Ann and Gina sat down where they were supposed to and after about 3 or 4 minutes of listening to the priest the alter boy gave a good shake to his bell. This sent my sisters into mass hysteria. They're not Catholic and no one had mentioned a bell the night before. I was even a little startled by it. They sat on the front pew with their shoulders going up and down laughing frantically. When they finally got calmed down the alter boy gave the bell a good shake again thus starting the laughter all over. It was quiet laughter but they couldn't keep their shoulders from going up and down. You know...one of those 'when you get started and can't stop no matter what' laughs. Thru the whole thing I had no idea...thats how quiet they were. My brother in law was in front of us to the right of the sanctuary with the musicians and knew that something was going on with them but couldn't quite figure out what it was. So after the service my aunt asked Leigh Ann and Gina if they were ok BECAUSE THEY WERE CRYING SO MUCH! Everyone thought they had been crying...not laughing! That was a hoot! However, Travis, my brother in law that saw the whole thing from the front corner said after the service..."At first I thought you were crying but then after I realized you were laughing uncontrollably at every shake of the bell I KNEW WE HAD SOME BAPTISTS IN THE HOUSE!"
Ok...so that's the joke of my wedding. But it sure made the rest of the day less stressful. hahaha I love remembering that.
Awwww...
What a great day that was and although every marriage goes thru highs and lows ours has mostly been highs.
I love you dear hubby. You are the best thing that has ever happened in my life on earth. Thank you for being the wonderful husband and father that you are. I hope God blesses us with 50 more years like the ones we've had so far.
This below...this is our brood...you've seen them...

Traci what a sweet post. Both of you look like babies! By the way, you are the only person that I know who could still pull off red lipstick!
