VACATION!!

I got to get back in the swing of things! I'm slacking on my blog and I"m gonna start forgetting things!

I thought I'd start out basically where I left off. Our beach and FSU vacation!

We saw so many rainbows while we were in Florida and they were all equally beautiful. This is as we were driving into Carillon Beach. It started raining.

Owen hittin the beach...he had been there all week already with some friends and had become completely comfortable in the water. We never thought that would happen but he ended up loving it.

That's Panama City on down the beach...

Ok...so I was a band geek. This was one of the highlights of my day!

We even SAT close to the band!! I was in heaven!!

The UNC fans were sitting in a very small section up behind us and were really causing trouble. Security had to go up there several times.

It pumped up the kids though...

I was back with these two below...

the rain had finally come and they postponed the game for 40 minutes. We waited it out....

and its a good thing we did. WE WON! 27-10!

So we left Tallahassee that night and headed to the interstate via Tifton, GA. We had planned on staying in a hotel when we got to the interstate at 9:30 but quickly found out that the Georgia State Fair was going on and there wasn't a hotel for almost 2 hours. I ended up calling my sister at 10:45 to have her 'call ahead' to find us a hotel room. WE WERE EXHAUSTED by the time we got to Macon at almost midnight. We slept, got up early the next morning and headed home.

This was Owen as we pulled into Murfreesboro...he slept like a baby for the next few days.

Whew! What a great time we had! We loved going to the game but it was so much fun going with friends. Oh and remember what I said earlier about Ian and Zach being troublemakers?

They could very well, without surprising us, be the half nude FSU guys one day!

I wouldn't put it past them!
