'YES SIR'...'NO SIR'.....
There is no way I could have come home and not come straight to this computer to talk about our night. It was awesome. Good friends, good food, good movie, and really good kids.

We went to the Hochstetlers this afternoon for pizza and a movie....Wild Hogs...has anyone seen that? Belly laugh out LOUD. All the characters were a scream!
Anyway, back to the subject at hand.

this afternoon and had a blast. I love being with real friends. Friends that will tell you like it is when you've done something right OR wrong. Kathy and Shellie are two dear dear friends to me. Thank the good Lord I was with them tonight. Ok ok. So we're watching Wild Hogs. We let the teenagers watch it with us but the younger kids had to watch a different movie in a different room. Near the end of our movie the phone rang. Then stopped. Then a minute later rang again. It was the police station telling us that someone had just called 911 and there was screaming in the background. Hmmm. Wonder who that could have been? I am not sure if the other families will know for sure but my kids will not fess up with a name. I guess it COULD have been one of mine but since they got this lesson about 2 years ago I can't imagine them doing it again. Ever. But there are exceptions and with my children exceptions come often. Shellie....love her....told 'dispatch' what was going on, that everything was fine, she hung up and we went back to the end of the movie. Until Maddie comes running up the stairs telling us the police were there. Shellie....love her...went outside like any would and quietly asked him if he could teach our purrecious babies a lesson. He was happy to. For a moment in time, for three little boys (not to mention the slightly older ones standing behind them), the world stood still. The looks on their puurrrecious little faces were priceless. That nice police officer calmly and politely let them have it. Bless their pea pickin hearts. They were scared out of their wits. I've never heard 'yes sir' and 'no sir' so much in one room by so many...ever.
Sooo the moral of my story here is..... if you think your kids acting abnormally perfect with a bunch of other kids around is too good to be true...you're probably right.

sounds like a great night with good friends. I haven't seen the movie yet, but the commercials looked funny. Hey, you showed me the first Godtube I ever saw. Here's another one a friend showed me. As a guy who has worked his whole life with teens, this is powerful.
