Old enough....

Happy Birthday to my sweet loving Jacob.
I love you very much and I'm so proud of the man you are becoming!

His 1st Birthday should've been a milk commercial.
My FAVORITE picture of Jacob.

Got a coat hanger stuck around his neck and couldn't get his head back out.
Jacob's Baptism with our favorite youth pastor, Mickey Clark.

Decided to make himself a beard and mustache with a SHARPIE MARKER.
Tonight.
Two of my guys, Ben and Jacob, at Jacob's annual Birthday Dinner at Toot's.

One of the only things Jacob has wanted for two years is a job.
Today he got to go fill out his first application at Publix. (Yes they hire at 14.)
He is so excited!
Good luck sweetheart!!

Leigh Ann's Birthday

I don't think I've told you how much I love my beautiful sisters. They are the GREATEST sisters in the world! We live in three different places and it's so much fun when we can all get together with our families. I'm the oldest, Leigh Ann is in the middle and Gina is the youngest.

Leigh Ann and my niece, Sara, came from Alabama to spend her birthday at Gina's this year. We had so much fun!

Gina made THE MOST AWESOME Chicken Parmigiana. Mmmm. It was so good!
Emma Kate and Delaney waiting to help blow out the candles.

Sweet Emma Kate in Ian's hat.

Sara...I love this one. She is a sweetie, recently married, and has a personality that precedes her. We just found out that she and hubby Zach just might be moving to Tennessee and we are thrilled!
Owen and Delaney. We love how these two still love each other so much.
Even though Owen is 10 and Delaney is 6 they still hang out together.
Gina and Ian.

Aunt Leigh Ann is fabulous at wrestling and getting all the kids in a frenzy. Emma Kate though thought that Aunt Leigh Ann was going to get hurt so she was entirely against anyone trying to get too close to her.
Happy Birthday Aunt Leigh Ann!

Happy Day!!!

MY 1st BABY IS 17!!

Katy came over and we woke him up TOGETHER this morning (haha). She made him the coolest blanket! He's a huge Georgia fan obviously. Afterward they headed off to Cracker Barrel for breakfast.

It's good to be a teen.

Jacob turned 13! My middle baby is no longer a child technically. He's a teeeeeenager. Am I suppose to feel happy or sad? I'm not real sure HOW I feel. I know he's excited though.

He had a friend spend the night and the whole family came over for
Toot's Wings and birthday cake....THEN the fun really began.

We went to play laser tag.

It was too dark so we couldn't get picks of everyone trying
to shoot everyone else....
You never know how ruthless your family can be
until you put a laser gun their hands!

Hope you're having a blessed week!

My Baby is 9!!

No really, my little boy, that was born almost 6 weeks early and had to spend 8 extra days in NICU is 9 years old! I can't believe he's growing up so fast.
Look at this sweet little yawn...
and those piggys....
He was so tiny...5 pounds 2 ounces of tiny.
Preschool Graduation...
The day he got baptised.
He chose IHOP for his birthday dinner because they have the BEST chocolate chip pancakes. He even got a kiss on the cheek from Paige, our waitress (who is also a friend of Ians). For dessert they brought him the biggest chocolate sundae we've ever seen (with more chocolate chips of course).
He had a slip n slide birthday with some friends and his classmates from school. They had a blast. Ben went and bought 100 feet of painters plastic and it was perfect for a big slip n slide.
Time flies doesn't it?
Ian and Jacob, First Day of School
Have you seen the Staples commercial where the dad and the kids are shopping for school supplies and the kids have sour faces and dads dancing around on his shopping cart and the tune playing is 'It's the most wonderful time of the year'?

That's me.
I am THRILLED that it is school time again. I thrive on routine (mostly) and I am so happy to be getting back to one! Yay!!
Have a great weekend everyone!!
