Snap a Picture or Save Myself

I got scolded today. By this man. :O)
The hubby.

Because of this...

I just couldn't help it. They looked so cute on the couch together. And I HAD to take a picture. That's what you do when you see something this precious. You snap a shot so you can keep it in your file of photos forever right?
Anyway,
I got Comet off the couch and let Owen go on happily watching cartoons without his warm sidekick.

It's such a gorgeous day!

We've had so much rain this past week and I am ready for some sunshine.
And ready to take the top off the jeep again. Mr. Filipino has been really busy
around here building and planting.
Our beautiful garden is finally growing green stuff!

Ok so it's hard to see but it's there!

Fixing the fence so the rabbits can't get in anymore..

Mr. Filipino's latest creation. A table (and stools in the making) for our back patio.

See those cwazy wabbits? We're fed up with them...
And Comet wants to MAKE. THEM. PAY.
He completely wigs out when he sees rabbits.
But then he calms down because he knows we won't let him go after them.
So after choking himself enough trying to get at them...
he just lifts his leg in protest and gives up.

Hope it's beautiful where you live!

Please Please Please

Oh Please don't make me get up!
I'll lay here and be really good all day long.
I won't move.
Really.

Comet

Comet's life. Eating and sleeping. The fire is a bonus.

There's something peaceful about everything covered in white isn't there?

The roads are better so I got out this morning to take Comet to the vet, make a trip to Starbucks for a latte and then to Donut Country to get donuts for the boys. As I was sitting in the car line waiting for my donuts I thought about how peaceful it's been for the past few days. Why is that? There have been bumped cars, major wrecks, power outages not to mention frostbite and the beginning of sickness from the cold wet all over the place. But my house has been quiet and peaceful. We went to the church to sled down the hills and we played in the snow together...well, I took the pictures. We snuggled in front of the tv to watch movies, we ate a fair amount of cookies and probably had too much hot chocolate. But it's been awesome being together with my family. We've all been stuck in one place together with no hustle or bustle to get here or there. Like we're the only ones in the whole world with no worries.

I enjoyed these few days being stuck together with my family. It was nice. Now the snow is slowly melting and the roads are clearing...tomorrow the boys will probably go back to school and the normal days will start again. (sigh)

Psalm 133:1 says 'How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!'

I say AMEN to that!

Have a blessed day!
