Balance..
Mental steadiness or emotional stability; habit of calm behavior, judgment, etc. The power or means to decide..to bring into or keep in equal or satisfying proportion or harmony.... Dictionary.com.
Mine is a simple life and a blessed life...a wife, mom, friend, daughter, sister, doctor, chauffeur, teacher, lawyer, dishwasher, kitchen cleaner, laundry worker, maid, recreation coodinator, bookkeeper, secretary, accountant, plumber, barber, short-order cook, juggler, entertainer, judge, jury, executioner, personal shopper, economist, referee, warden, artist, church volunteer...
Balancing even the simple things, like those listed above, can be overwhelming. Life is busy and we have to be realistic but definitions of balance will also change at different stages in my life...(one day I'll be balancing to stay on my feet I'm sure). I have to be flexible. Know what is important and always keep that in focus in order to balance it. Hmmm 'focus'...I think that's your word isn't it Kathy?
Balance. I just want to be a normal mom with a normal family that balances the good with the bad. Sports and video games, report card D's and report card A's, family dinners, devotions, quality time with my boys while I watch them grow, quality time with Ben, working as an artist and being in ministry at church. Balance.
Ali Edward's has a huge list of words to apply to your life. It's hard to choose just one word but thinking about my life and what I live and love on a daily basis..BALANCE is good for me.
GOD BLESS!!
