Mother's Day!!
Can you tell what this is? My 10 year old decided yesterday he would carve lov(without the 'e') in a bar of soap! :O) Isn't he creative?

This is my favorite picture of me and my Mommy...

Mother's Day....a day to remember all the Mothers that have blessed our lives....

My Mom.. who looks like she could be my sister...is and has always been loving and supportive no matter how many times, as a teenager and young adult, I embarrassed her, harrassed her, screamed at her, insulted or lied to her. I did so many things to upset her and she was always there. Even with our recently joining another church...she still loves me and supports me and that makes her a little more amazing in my eyes. Thank you Mom. :O) I love you and I always have. Even when you thought I didn't.

My sisters, who are now moms too. Woooo! We are MOMS! Leigh Ann, thanks for letting me learn a little about being a mom with Pooh Bear...he will always be like a son...another son....to me. And for letting me dress Sara the way I wanted because somehow I think I knew I would only have boys. I got to live vicariously through you for a while. And Gina...FINALLY, almost 15 years later, we have another little girl. Again, I get to live vicariously through another sister because I had all boys! I love that baby girl of yours like she was my own too. But I have to say....it's time for another one. Oh and I'm sorry me and Leigh Ann said year after year...'wait til you have your own'. hahaha By the way, you are both the BESTEST moms and I'm so proud of you!

Gina

Pacita....I cannot imagine a better Mother in Law and I can't imagine my life without you...thanks for raising Ben to be the best hubby he can be. He is because YOU raised him that way. And Gina and Marien, I'm so happy to have you as Sisters in Law. By being his sisters you also made him what he is today. Marien, he's kind and gentle and honest like you are. Gina, not that you're NOT kind and gentle and honest because you are, but you, I guess, were the one that taught him how to take up for himself too right? haha How many bullies did you have to defeat before Ben learned that it was ok to let his sister stop taking up for him?! :O) Way to help raise him! That's why you're good moms today!

My Granny H., thank you for the love and warmth you've ALWAYS shown me. You are one of the strongest women I know and I hope I'm just like you when I grow up.
My Granny D., who is sitting with Jesus and has been for years, thanks for spoiling me rotten. It taught me that its ok to spoil kids cause, if I do say so myself, they can still turn out pretty darn good.

Bobbie, I love you...you're spur of the moment and comfortable with anything...even when you're not.
Debra Sue, I love you....haven't shown it often but I do. And I know you love me too.

At the beach with Nanna/Nanny!

Aunt Lucille, I've said my whole life that I'm going to be just like you. I think I already am..and I don't think there is anything anybody can do about it...but I really just don't care.

Ann(Mom), Tracie, Leigh Ann, Gina

To all my girlfriends who are mothers, thank you for showing me God's love thru a mothers eyes. I've learned so much from you in the past few years. Our lives are changing daily but I know that we will always be friends....and mothers....no matter where God takes us.

Tracie, Leigh Ann, Gina

To those that are not mothers and want to be...you are exemplary women and you WILL be moms if thats in God's will. He may not have your plans in His plans, trust Him...He has a reason and He knows everything..He knew before you were born that you would struggle with this~ But remember, He loves you no matter what. He's given you the self assurance, the personality, the attitude and the love of mothers so if you DO have children, you are prepared. It's after the triplets come that you need praying for the most, if He brings you to it, He will get you through it.

Leigh Ann, Tracie, Gina

To those that have become a second mother to another mothers child, God gave you this blessing. And it IS a blessing...any chance to help raise a child... being their mother or not... no matter how you see it. He wanted you there in that childs life for a reason...because of something in YOU. Find that reason and utilize it. That's what you're suppose to do.

God Bless To You All!!!

Great Mother's Day post. Put the soap in a small ziplock bag and it will keep as long as you want it. =)
